Arbeitsgebiete
As an umbrella organisation, the FKM represents the interests of the mechanical engineering industry in the IGF and is responsible in particular for cross-sector and pilot projects on the topics of Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, computational methods, materials, sealing technology and emerging technologies.
Network of 7 independent research associations and 23 research groups of the VDMA. Number of associations: 1, with > 3,500 companies (members), therefrom 90% small and medium companies.
